The park in April
Duane Park is the second oldest public park in New York City. It is located in lower Manhattan, at the intersection of Duane and Hudson Streets, in the heart of Tribeca - the Triangle Below Canal Street.

Friends of Duane Park is a not-for profit organization founded in 1994 to maintain and restore the park.

Generous donations of time and money from more than 150 individuals and organizations have enabled Friends of Duane Park to plan and pay for a major restoration of the park, enlarging planting beds and installing new benches, fencing, and historic lamps. The park is clean and well kept. Members participate in planting and clean-up days and help plan special events.
